Romie Romak is a musical artist, pop culture oracle, and studied disciple of the meteor hammer living in the greater PDX area. Rudely struck from the history books, this Queer iconoclast has been creating subversive bangers since MySpace.

The eras of Romie's career are simultaneously well-defined and wildly varied, oscillating from studio albums and short films, to highly visual live performances and even a 12-part original horror audio drama (2019's THE BLOB STARES BACK). The efforts of previous bands based in her native Los Angeles, GRYPT and RoMak & the Space Pirates, have burned into the memories of many.

Now, Romie returns with her nu project and debut full-length release, The Turquoise Lemonade. Evocative hooks and glittering retro-synths detail a world rich in heartbreak, redemption, and existential contemplation in the spiraling descent of late-stage capitalism. But like, chill. The album features numerous collaborators from across the Romie Romak Extended Universe, including Jenn Echo, whoistheMETRO, Elias and the Error, and Devi McCallion. The fourth single Respectable Things was featured in the Portland Mercury and on Race Chaser podcast.

Flanked by fearsome associates of the Turquoise Lemonade band, Romie is poised to unleash another barrage of bops dripping in preservatives.
